I needed to upgrade from a 4pin to a 7pin connector after adding brakes to my trailer. This kit worked perfectly. The cord was longer than I needed, but that was my choice during selection. The overall quality of both the cord and the connection box is very good.
The wiring and plug look to be of good quality, and the junction box made for an easy installation.
Installation was straightforward, although the wiring was reversed compared to my truck. This was an easy fix. The unit is wellbuilt and fits perfectly.
This is the best method I've found for wiring a trailer. I used it to add all new lights and wiring to a large flatbed trailer. You must pay attention to the colors on the junction box as they differed from my wiring, but it is still easy to follow. I took photos before closing the box for future reference.
