These items are shipped compressed, which might make them seem thin initially. Open the package carefully to avoid damage, and you will find they are quite robust. The lack of a fabric lining is a benefit outdoors, as it prevents moisture retention and deters pests. I initially bought a larger size on sale, which was too big for my 27,inch tires. The material, however, is a sturdy fabric similar to canvas, not a cheap synthetic. I am very satisfied, especially given the price. A note for those using a stabilizer between their tires: a single cover designed for two tires might be a better option to conceal the equipment.
